There are all kinds of opportunities for women to participate and serve in ministry at FOPC. Most every area of ministry is open to women, but we also set aside important times when it is good to be “only the girls.” All of these ministry areas are dedicated to providing spiritual, social, and emotional support to women.
Women’s Fellowship & Outreach
We get together for friendship, fellowship, Bible study, and encouragement. Our goal is to grow and nurture our faith and to support missions and outreach both locally and worldwide, with an emphasis on women’s and children’s needs.
Once a month we gather as a large group for our Thursday Brunch. This meeting usually features a guest speaker. In addition, we get together in small groups called Circles which meet once a month for Bible Study, fellowship, and mutual support.
Please come join the warm, informal, inter-generational fellowship of women working for the benefit of our church and community, while nurturing spiritual growth.
1st Thursday Brunch – General meeting/social with speaker at 9:30 AM in the AMC (Sept-Jun)
2nd Thursday – Bible study at 9:30 AM in the AMC (Sept-June)
Circles – Small group fellowship/Bible study. Various times and meeting places. Call Beth Daniels, 961-3541. (Sept-June)

Help make items for the annual Craft & Vintage Fair (1st Saturday in November). We have ladies who sew, quilt, knit, crochet, make paper crafts, paint, make all kinds of miscellaneous crafts and we even have some ladies who don’t craft at all. All proceeds go to various missionaries and mission projects. For more info, call Lou 837-9277 (cell) or 944-1129 (hm) or Barbara 290-2885 (cell) or 485-5645 (hm).
