Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds,
and to be generous and willing to share.

1 Timothy 6:18

You’re invited to join the generosity extravaganza! As a large church family, we can do more, give more and make a bigger difference together! When we understand what it truly means to “be rich” in love, service and generosity we can respond with action and change our community and the world!

This “Be Rich” movement is not a money grab and it’s way more than a sermon series. This is an opportunity for us, the Church, to create a reputation of irrational generosity and show our community who God truly is.

We hope you join us to love more, do more and give more than ever before! We have listed several ways you can participate below. Know that however you give, whether in love, in time or finances, your gifts have the potential to be life-changers for the people they serve. Let’s “be rich” together!

A simple, thoughtful gesture can have a big impact

Share the love with a neighbor, public servant, or stranger who regularly serves you!

Write a note to appreciate a veteran. Bring cookies to the local fire department. Purchase a small gift card to thank your teacher. Appreciate the barista who regularly serves you coffee. Rake your neighbor’s leaves.

Purchase a Christmas gift for a kid in our community.

You can help make a local kid’s Christmas extra special this year! We are partnering with our friends at the Sayonara Center and Northridge Elementary School again. Gifts are due by December 9th. We still need 25 unwrapped toys. Our Wednesday night Kids Club students are going to help us sort Shining Stars packages on Wednesday, December 12th at 7:15 PM in the Worship Center. We can use adult help with the kids and to help get gifts ready for delivery. Also, we would love your help delivering gifts to Sayonara Center families on December 15th. Meet in the Worship Center at 8:30 AM. Click the button below to sign up to help with sorting or delivery.

Give a gift to support the ministry at Fair Oaks Church

We give back to God because he has so generously given to us. It’s our joy to be irrationally generous, allowing God to use what we give for his good purposes. We encourage you to consider giving to what God is doing through our church so that everyone in Fair Oaks and beyond can flourish in a life with God.
