The Confident Parent

Instructor: Tim Dakin

Many parents feel overwhelmed by the enormous pressure of parenting their kids. When parents lose confidence, children languish. This class will help you begin to get your confidence back! We’ll discuss the causes and cures of being hurried, over-indulged, and under-mentored. You’ll get tips on how to effectively set limits and use logical consequences, and how to coach your kids to live more effectively. Whether you are a parent of toddlers or teens, this class is perfect for you!

The Liquid Bible

Instructor: Pastor Paul Thome

If you would love to get into the Bible more, but feel intimidated by it, then join the rest of the world! It is a challenging book, but if people could somehow connect with the essential storyline and recapture the flow of the story, it can inspire them to dig deeper into its pages and absorb more of its life changing message.

This class is designed to help people understand and connect with the storyline of the Bible. It can enhance anyone’s understanding of the Bible by exposing them to the overall flow of the story, chronologically from beginning to end, in normal human language. This class is for anyone who wants to better understand the message of the Bible, whether they are a beginner or veteran student of the faith.

The Book of Jonah

Instructor: Dr. Bob Quadro

See what happens when we tell God “no”! This is a study on the prophet Jonah, a man who knew the character of God, but didn’t really understand or embrace it. It speaks to Christians today who may know God and even serve Him, but have not fully embraced His heart.

Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs!” (Jonah 2:8). This key verse will help us evaluate our own lives. As Christians, what idols do we cling to today? How does that impact our ability to fully enter into the heart of God?
