Missions & Outreach Administrative Assistant

Cheryl Wanner has been the Missions & Outreach Administrative Assistant since 2010.  In addition to working in the Missions Department, you can find Cheryl at the Front Desk answering questions and phones on weekday mornings.  In the Missions Department, she works with  the Missions volunteers and assists the Director of Missions & Evangelism to facilitate events and projects.  Prior to working at FOPC, Cheryl handled the office administration for her husband’s construction company, which she continues to do as her “other job.”  Gardening is her “therapy,” but Cheryl also enjoys reading, sewing, and cooking. Cheryl and her husband have 4 children and 5 grandchildren they enjoy spending time with.

Favorite Part of Working at FOPC

I love the people I work with! Working in two different areas allows for more exposure to our church community and connecting with the people I have seen for years on a deeper level has been very rewarding.
