We exist to develop students into committed followers of Jesus Christ. We are a faith community marked by the love of Christ striving to be inclusive, forgiving, authentic and supportive. Our goal is to create a comfortable environment so that all students feel welcome, loved and valued. Students involved at Fair Oaks Church will have opportunity to discover Jesus, take ownership of their faith, grow in spiritual maturity, and follow Christ alongside a community of believers.
We want to create a fun filled environment for 7th and 8th grade students that demonstrates God’s love and care to them, while teaching them skills to help them throughout their lives. We have dynamic programs both on Sunday and Wednesday, plus more events throughout the year.
10:30 AM | Jr. High Service
Students will enjoy a fun approach to learning and benefit from an age-appropriate, gospel-centered message and small group connection opportunities. We meet in the Junior High room located on the second floor of the Kids & Youth Building.
7 PM | Jr. High Youth Group
Come join us for a fantastic worship experience and community-building. The First Wednesday of every month is designed to be outreach-focused. We play games and design activities for students to connect and encourage them to invite their friends. Every other Wednesday we continue the fun but also incorporate a time to study and learn from God’s word and participate in worship together. This is a great way to connect to your peers, to our leaders, and most importantly, to God.
We are going to winter camp at Camp Alta February 8-10, 2019. The cost is $125 per student. The theme for this year is Salt and Light! We will be learning how to put our faith in action in our everyday lives. We are leaving at 3:30pm on Friday, February 8th and returning on Sunday, February 10th at 4pm. We have a limited number of spots available. You can sign up here. We will follow up with a Camp Alta Health Form as well as our Student Medical Form if you haven’t already filled one out for 2019.
If you have questions or are available to help us drive to and from camp, please contact Jessica Benton at email@example.com.
Being in high school has a whole new set of challenges. We provide your high schoolers with a safe, God-centered environment to grow and explore while having fun doing it. Our programs help equip them to grow in their faith, and become life-long followers of Jesus.
10:30 AM | Contemporary Service in the FLC – Student Section
We want our high school students to understand and value what it means to be part of a church. We believe having them attend and participate regularly in the Contemporary Service will help them to experience that now and seamlessly transition after graduation into adulthood. We encourage students to sit together in the Student Section (marked with signage on the left side of the room).
5 PM | Youth Choir (Currently on break. Meets September – Easter)
A youth choir for students in high school and college. The choir sings for churches and community events and takes a week-long trip to share the love of Christ with worship, drama, and testimony.
7 PM | High School Youth Group
This weekly program consistently allows teens to connect as a faith community, to learn from Biblical teaching, and to worship together. The First Wednesday of every month is designed to be outreach-focused. We play games and design activities for students to connect and encourage them to invite their friends. Every other Wednesday we still value FUN, but also intentionally teach from Scripture to challenge, encourage and help students mature in their faith. We love worshipping together and schedule time for prayer, connection and community.
For off campus events and trips we require you to fill out a Student Medical Form.
